Dear Rich, Episode #9

                                                                March 28th, 2023

Dear Rich,

As each day passes by, I try to be more and more hopeful about coming home. I do have to admit that traveling along side with hopefulness does, comes a fair share of sadness, stress, and despair.  I am really really trying hard to stay as positive as I can, but some days, the empty void that was once occupied with phone calls with you, playing with the dogs, working at the salon, gossiping with friends, shopping trips, adventures at a theme, park, dancing; are filled with loneliness and depression. I’m not writing this to make you or anyone else for that matter. Be sad or feel bad for me, I just promised I would be truthful and honest. Although there have been some laughable, funny moments in here, I am ready to be home. 24 days until court.

I can report, to lighten things up, that BOTH “J-catts” were removed throughout the night last night. One of them was just simply gone (removed) in the middle of the night. The second, buckle up for this story. Apparently he was, let’s just say, “touching himself- in a very private area,” for all on the bottom tier to see within nary a blanket over himself. Stroking up and down for whomever wanted to watch. Unfortunately, for “J-Catt” #2, nobody want to tickets to that show. A reliable source stated that when asked to “ knock it off” and that “ we don’t do that here” the reply was “ mind, your own business man.” so long, farewell to “J-Catt” #2, the midnight stroker. We are anxiously looking forward to the new arrivals; with stories to follow.

I finally got to connect on the phone with Erica last night. Yay! She’ll now be added into my rotating phone calls. One of the flaws with dayroom 4 is the phone line. It’s always so long. In dayroom #1 there was a schedule so that everyone was able to use it if they wanted. No such luck in dayroom #4. You must wait in a line as often as you want to use it. Usually the line is 2 to 3 hours in length. Also, if I try and call and there’s no answer, I only have three attempts to connect to somebody. So, if no one answers, to the back of the line I go if I want to try again. I am currently in the phone line as I write this. LOL

Jule got my first two sets of letters! I am so happy! I hope you were able to read them and it gave you some peace of mind. It definitely made my heart happy to hear that today. She told me that Travis responded to her and thanked her for doing this and organizing it. I had literal tears in my eyes hearing his name. I miss him so much. He would’ve definitely purchased a ticket to the “midnight stroker” show last night. Like we say in the business, “ as long as there’s one person, watching, you have to do the show.” Ha ha!

Nothing else too eventful to report today. I’m super anxious and excited to hear peoples responses to the first two sets of letters. Maybe when I’m out, I’ll turn it into a show with a few songs people can sing that are going through my head when I write. We’ll see. The remainder of the evening shouldn’t be too eventful. I’m going to make my phone call to Erica so we can finish the conversation we started last night and we get commissary tonight! That’s always a treat. I pretend that it’s equivalent to getting a package in the mail.

Jule told me that the blog is called, “Dear Rich, Love Sean”. I love it. We wanted to go “viral”. Ha ha – maybe will become famous – or at least maybe my story will. Everything that happens to us from this point on will be positive and forward moving. I love you so so much my amazing husband and I can’t wait to go back to living a normal, uneventful life with you. There’s nothing I want more. I just know that we are almost through this trench that’s been put in our lives, and we’re slowly but surely climbing out. I love you with all of my heart. A hundred kisses… XOXO

Love always,

Sean ❤️ POPTART

P.S. tell everyone to send me letters and pictures every day. I need to see everyone’s faces. I would like photos from my brother’s wedding. But only sent 10 per envelope. Thank you!!! Love you. ❤️
